Lack of skills needed to form a meaningful connection online

A good starting point for learning to cope with social anxiety is to identify the social skills that are lacking and could use a bit of work. Working on and improving these skills may help individuals better cope with the thoughts and emotions that come with social anxiety. Psychology Today (2022) has a good resource for understanding strategies to help grow children's social skills.
